PCB Production :
The production of a printed circuit board (PCB) begins the design of the board
layout on a Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) package. Once complete, a plot is made
of the desired layout in which areas of copper on the final board are
represented in black ink while areas to be void of copper are represented by
white paper. This hardcopy is two times larger than the final board (2:1) to
give better resolution on the final product. The plot is photographed with a
copy camera which reduces the image to it's final 1:1 size.
Global demand for electronic products and the printed circuit boards production used to make them continues to rise. Rapid technological advances have permitted the incorporation of more and more functions on ever-smaller printed circuit boards production. In addition, improvements in integrated circuit processing have dramatically increased circuit speeds. Both of these phenomena help to fuel the increase in demand for electronic equipment and, in turn, printed circuit boards production.
The growth of the electronic equipment industry is driven also by a seemingly insatiable demand for both new and existing products. Examples of new products coupled with existing products, such as radio, television and computers, these new technologies will demand great quantities of sophisticated electronic equipment and components, including printed circuit boards.
We provide in-depth information and state-of-the-art technological evaluations for decision making by strategic planners, marketers, forecasters, new product developers and business development managers in those companies already involved in printed circuit boards production, or those companies considering becoming involved in the supply of printed circuit boards to the automotive, business retail, communications, computer, consumer, government/military, industrial electronics and instrumentation markets. |
